Open Data kit (ODK) is an ecosystem of applications used to create, administer and collect data with mobile devices running the Android operating system. ODK forms are created in the Xforms format and collected data remain in the device until an Internet connection is established at which time the collected data can be uploaded to a central database. Downloaded more than 50,000 times from Google Play, the mobile forms application has become a standard for field data gathering for Nongovernmental Organizations, researchers, and health professionals. The French version has been translated by EpiConcept. Attention : This course is given in French. It can however be given as a custom training in English. - Manage the use and interactions among the ODK applications
- Create a questionnaire form in the standard Xforms format
- Diffuse the questionnaire to multiple mobile devices
- Manage the central database of received data
- Create a mixed PC/handheld solution via the application WEPI
